I am looking for a web site or even a book that has the words to the color songs. Such as R E D red, R E D red I can spell red. I know all my kids knew those songs at one time and loved them. Does any one know where I can find them?

You may need to find at a website for teachers that deal with kindergartners to find more songs.

I don't remember any color songs from childhood.

There is a site called songsforteaching.com that includes songs for colors as well as for shapes and adjectives. Hope that helps.

Theresa, The color songs are available from Frog Street Press. This company sells CDs with songs for young children to learn their shapes, colors, numbers, etc. The color CD teaches red, blue, purple, yellow, green, pink, orange, white, brown, and black. My three year old learned how to spell her colors because of this CD. I now have the RED song lyrics playing in my head.
