there are so many games available nowadays that have numbers games or word puzzles or some searching a clue like a thing that are not violent at all and help develop a childs mental agility....I think these kind of games will be definitely wellcomed by parents too.

Puzzle games would fill out most of the games since we are catering to children here. Another game would be typing games.

What about jigsaw puzzles, I think they are agreat way to built concentration and also mental flexibility of the child. The computer ones have so many choices for all age groups...

Default computer

i think my niece actually learned to read because she was so anxious to play some Barbie games on the computer. I think it may be okay if the kids are shown that it is just one of many different ways to find interesting things to do. It should be monitored, of course, and limited to a fraction of the day. Kids need to look people in the eye and develop social skills, and they need exercise too.

I see nothing wrong if they are on learning sites. There is a great one called Starfall that helps them to recognize their letters and start to learn how to read. As long as the computer is not turning into a babysitter and is used for learning I think it's alright.

I think that letting child in daycare play computer games is interesting, but if done it would have to be well supervised, to make sure the games are child friendly.

I have also seen the site starfall Tater and it is actually wonderful...I also like the idea of the official sites of so many cartoon characters like elmo, disney, cebeebies..they also have quite good interactive games where children learn while playing with their fav. characters.
